Who would you report to?


Our CEO. He has a black belt in bad-assery.

What will get our attention?


● If you have a working knowledge of the custom-integration (CEDIA) industry, as a system designer;
● If you can articulate the difference between micro and macro thinking in regards to client relationships and sales;
● If you have Star Draw Experience;
● If you have experience with Slateplan;
● If you have an innate ability to make friends with anyone;
● If you assisted Tony Stark in the design of his Arc Reactor.

What should you bring to the table?


● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;
● Three or more years in the audio, video, and / or broadcast industry;
● Three or more years of sales experience;
● Minimum of three years field experience;
● Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven;
● Strong written and oral English communication skills;
● Experience with Microsoft Office;
● Clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check;
● Ability to travel locally, attend industry events, and occasional seminars;
● Be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Who are we?


Remember the cartoon The Jetsons, as a kid? Or, how about the movie, Iron Man? Both shows have a key commonality: they showcased really bad-ass homes that were souped up with the kind of technology that would blow your mind if that technology actually existed in real life.

Well, what was fiction is rapidly becoming real life. Our Founder & CEO realized this a number of years ago when he launched our company, Garrett Integrated Systems. Consumer technology and smart-home systems are evolving at a rapid pace, which means homes being built or renovated today and in the coming years are going to look more and more like those homes in the movies. We get to integrate state of the art technology into the homes of tomorrow on a daily basis. How cool is that!

Our company is one of few that is HTA Certified therefore, we hire really smart tech geeks, who are passionate and eager to learn, and then trains them on the biggest brands and latest gadgets so that they can help homeowners go about their lives.

Which is where you come in. We’ve bootstrapped our company over the past few years, and we’re proud of the company and people we’ve built. We also recognize we can no longer continue to bootstrap our organization if we’re going to successfully scale.

What would a typical day look like?


The talented Account Manager will be responsible for audio-video system design & sales on a range of AV projects. You will be prospecting and networking in order to generate new business for our team. You will be provided with in-house support resources for the designing, engineering, integration, and installation of world class products.

Specifically, your day will consist of the following:

● Generate industry relationships and provide client assistance;
● Control system and Theater room design (control/lighting/shading);
● Grow and manage an existing account base of dedicated clients;
● Advanced networking/data system design;
● Conduct meetings with decision-makers to thoroughly understand client needs and to provide solutions;
● Manage the sales process from initial meeting through closing, including thorough documentation of client needs and future opportunities;
● Prepare proposals and bid specifications to strategically win new business;
● Advanced understanding of security system design;
● Develop project designs and initial job specification;
● Provide call lists, sales forecasts, and other reporting items as needed.
